Meet me at... The Fair...

OK....so The August samples are Done & have arrived at Jessie's...Wow that was a project...all of that fiber was from start to finish hand done from shearing
(even the mohair, wool & Alpaca blends) to the final product...I first Dyed the Base colors (mixed dye colors too) I used mostly Cushings but also have ashford yellow & a pro-chem blue. then blended colors to get them as close as possible to the actual colors of the ribbons....The only colors that where easy, was the Lavender & white!! I can't wait to Show them to All of you because I really love all of them and I can't wait for the Video .....that I can't get on Dial Up...Maybe I'll go spend my birthday with my friend ( and sister-in law) Diana (FiberFancy) and watch it with her our BDs are two days apart and for the first time since I can remember I'm not going to be up-to my eyeballs in showing Llamas ....this is going to be weird!!! I added some sparkle to all of them also and simply love the way they reflect the light & I think the excitement of the Fair Competitions with the Animals!
Back to the Samples I included as the label for the samples the Ribbon & Fair that it came from as well as the Llama, Or Alpaca cause I do have a couple... Anyway there are 5 different color combos, for the fiber & hand spun yarn...I was only able to get 50 braids done and sorry only ten hand spun (2 of each color combo done) but I did include other small samples of hand spun on my coupons some of witch are on sale in my shop..Right now... Others I still need to list.I have enough Fiber dyed to make Three two Ounce Braids of Each Color Combo For Sale in the shop.I have to dye more colors for extra to make the yarn s I'll try to do that this week..I hope everyone enjoys the Samples as much as I did making them cause above all the work it was tons of FUN!! After all isn't that why we ALL do this?
September's theme is Legends Folklore & Fair-Tails .....
I love Dragons & Princess's "Dragons" more than the frilly Princes

  1. Absolutely gorgeous! I'm so impressed! I've been a "closet" follower of yours for a while. And I just found Diane at FF. And now I'm a fellow phatfiber-er. Keep up the great work!!
